I’m Brice Deloose, mastering engineer based in Brussels with more than two decades in electronic music. Alongside my work as DJ and producer Pattrn, I’ve been a booker and sound engineer at the iconic Fuse club, founded Initiate Records, and taught mixing and electronic music production at SAE Institute and the Royal Conservatory of Mons.

That mix of artistry and technical depth defines how I approach mastering. I focus on giving electronic music the qualities it needs to thrive: powerful low end that moves crowds in clubs, clarity that lets ambient textures breathe, and translation that works across systems—from big rooms to headphones.

Meticulously designed by Ideal Acoustics around the Kii Three speakers, the studio ensures the purest signal path and the most accurate, reproducible environment. Inspired by FTB studio design, the space offers a natural reaction to human presence while making the room "invisible" from the speakers' standpoint, allowing you to hear the music, not the room.

Mastering and mixing services 100% in the box, allowing perfect recall for your revisions and no acoustic interference caused by physical equipment. Working in the box grants access to a broad palette of high-end plugins, allowing to select the best tools for each track for precise adjustments and colouring (or not). This versatility enables me to fine-tune every subtlety your track might require, without the limitations of outboard gear.

The Kii Three + BXT speakers, selected among renowned mastering studios, boast an incredible frequency range and a cardioid polar pattern, providing a compact, punchy, and defined low end while minimising room interaction.

Workflow

Mastering

• Requirements

Your mix should be sent with at least 1dB of headroom (peaks at -1dBFS), no limiter on your master. File should ideally be stereo 24bit 48kHz max length 15 minutes (if longer this will lead to a separate specific contract) I also need to know the format for which the master is needed: streaming platforms only, digital release and/or vinyl press.

• Process

After reviewing your 3 reference tracks, I'll provide feedback and direction that i plan to take. Once we're aligned, I'll start the work and send a sample for approval. Once approved, you can proceed with payment to receive the full-length mastered track.

• Schedule

Upon receiving all necessary content, expect initial feedback within 5 working days (typically less than 3 days). After agreeing on the direction, your final master will be delivered within 5 working days (usually within 48 hours). Express service within 24 hours is available at an additional cost of 25%. If the submitted mix doesn't meet mastering standards, a detailed "mix feedback" with clear guidelines can be provided for €30. No mastering will commence until the mix is addressed, ensuring high-quality output.

• Requirements

I need to receive stems in proper audio format 24bit 48kHz max length 15 minutes (if longer this will lead to a separate specific contract) These should contain no clips, no double files. If this is not the case, an additional fee will be charged depending on the exact extra amount of work fixing this will cause

• Process

After reviewing your guidelines and reference tracks, I'll load the stems into a project at unity gain. Then, I'll provide feedback and direction. If needed, I'll suggest adjustments like removing reverb or combining tracks. Once I have all the necessary audio files, I'll begin working on your track. I'll send you a sample for approval. We can discuss and make adjustments to ensure it meets your preferences. Once approved, you can proceed with payment to receive the full-length mixed track.

• Schedule

Upon receiving all necessary content, you’ll receive first feedback within 5 working days. Once agreed on the steps, the final mix will be delivered in less than 10 working days. Express service within 48hours : 30% extra cost

These are pretty personal projects and require more discussions on your needs, your expectations, your project timeline (and your deadlines). I offer all kinds of services : fine tuning your arrangement, doing sound design in order to achieve more unique sounds in your productions, harmonic bridges, toplines writing (you know that catchy theme that stays in your head),...

For specific demands, we'll schedule a call to define your goals precisely. Here are some mandatory requirements and average work conditions:

Send at least 3 of your tracks in progress for me to understand your style.
Provide at least 6 reference tracks with notes on what you love about each.
We'll collaborate in-studio or via Zoom for efficient communication.
